When working with microscope objectives with lower magnifications to match the optical system and Nyquist sample you need smaller pixels than classical sCMOS delivers. However, like everyone, you will be looking to ensure high image quality and minimise your exposure times. The FL series cameras are designed for just this job, delivering 85% peak QE with sub electron read noise, 2.4 micron pixels, and advanced thermo-electric cooling to maximise image quality and minimise exposure time.
The FL 20 is a scientific CMOS camera designed for professional color fluorescence imaging, with advanced thermoelectric cooling noise reduction technology, real-time 3D noise reduction, and optimized functions to provide perfect imaging quality. And the FL 20BW is a Scientific CMOS camera designed for documentation or system integration. Delivering 20 million pixels with 84% QE it is the perfect camera for systems operating with low NA/low magnification objectives.
