Description

Tanon Femto-sig ECL Western Blotting Substrate is an ultra-sensitive, non-radioactive chemiluminescent substrate designed for the detection of horseradish peroxidase (HRP) in Western blotting applications.

Featuring an enhanced luminol-based formulation, Femto-sig ECL enables antigen detection at the femtogram (fg) level, making it suitable for detecting low-abundance proteins and weakly expressed targets in protein research.

Compatible with both X-ray film and chemiluminescence imaging systems, the substrate provides flexible detection options for sensitive Western blot analysis.

The convenient two-component system consists of Luminol/Enhancer Solution and Peroxide Buffer, mixed at a 1:1 ratio immediately before use. Each 100 mL kit provides sufficient working substrate for approximately 1,000 cm² of blotting membrane.
